Dear brothers and sisters, As well as our Harvest Supper next week (Friday 25th) which is a great opportunity to show care for our community, there are quite a few things taking place in November. Please take a look and see how you might be able to get involved and to help in the ministry of the church. Visit from Larry Wilkes From Saturday Nov 2nd to Thursday 14th, Larry Wilkes, his wife Mandy, and their two daughters will be visiting with us as a church. Larry is currently a candidate for ordination in the PCA church in the US but he and the family are investigating whether they could come to serve in England. It would be great to have Larry be able to meet with as many of the church as possible during their visit. If you would be able to give time to Larry and the family, either for a coffee or a meal, particularly if you are American, please could you let me know. If you have any questions please get in touch. Harvest Community Party @ Home of Jason and Shannon Way Saturday 26th October 5pm-8pm Friends and family and guests are all invited to the home of Jason and Shannon Way as they host their annual harvest party. Members of kids club will also be invited. There will be food and games and you are invited to dress up in a (non scary!) costume. Jason and Shannon are hoping this will be a great time of fun fellowship and of meeting neighbours. If you are able please bring some finger food or snacks to share. Thanksgiving Lunch We are hoping to host our annual Thanksgiving celebration lunch after the morning service on Nov 24th. Kristen Jolley is organising the meal. Please see her if you would like to help and bring some food. This is another great opportunity to invite friends or family to join us. Early Break Cafe The Thursday morning coffee mornings will be taking place every Thursday 8:30am-10:30am. Please come along and spend time getting to know folks if you are able. Youth and Childrens dates Kids Club meets on Saturday 9th, 23rd November Thursday Youth Group meets on 14th, 28th November Visiting Preachers We are blessed that in the next few weeks that we will hear from several visiting preachers.
