Dear candidates, thank you for putting your self out there for people to scrutinize you and your life. I know the personal invasion of your life is hard and difficult to endure at times. However, you are now different than most people. You have chosen to stand up and be heard. You have said hear me and what I have to say. I commend you for that stance but you must know this fact, win or lose you have an obligation to continue with that voice. We are dependent on you to stay involved and continue to voice your opinions. Use your influence to get more citizens involved in their government. Use your voice to hold those elected accountable. Even though my term on the commission nears its completion you can bet I will still be there as a voice for the people. It has been a privilege and honor to serve the great people of Maury County and maybe in the future I will get that opportunity again. Leadership is a tricky thing, it is lonely at times and also overwhelming. You will endure personal attacks and gossip but remember this anything worth having or attaining is worth fighting for. On the Commission or School Board, 99% of what you do in government is house work. It is the 1% that determines direction and that can be messy which is alright. You have an obligation to speak up and represent your constituents. I will be around and willing to help anybody with any information they need to help Maury County grow and prosper. The election is almost over and after that the real task at hand begins. Lets Make Maury Great!! God Bless You All
