Dear diary. Today we had a booking at the tallest building in the world. Burj khalifa. It took less than a minute to reach the 124th floor where we could walk around and see Dubai from above. It was a little hazy but we were still able to see for a good distance. We walked for half an hour in the Dubai mall and as usual everything is big and proud in Dubai. Back to the hotel for lunch. In a traditional Arabian boat we got on to travel to the other hotel that is part if the same resort and had coffee. We then walked back through a maze of shops which was all part of the same resort called a souk. Security on our part of the resort is very high and you have to disclose that you stay at the resort to be able to go to it. After a late lunch I joined the desert safari, rode a camel, had a photo holding a falcon, watched a man spinning in circles with a very heavy skirt and was entertained by a really good belly dancer. A drive through Dubai at night was mesmerising. Back at the hotel where I now can relax before more adventures tomorrow.
