Dear facebook fam, my Aunty, Professor Remi Sonaiya is the sole female running for president of Nigeria, which is quite INSPIRING to say the least... Im not even going to go into how great she is as a person, and the fact that she is probably one of the smartest people on Earth, of course Ill say that shes my Aunty :) Im not even going to tell you to vote for her, though you should, lol. But seriously, Ill say one thing, and she says it in this Tedx video; we (especially us young folks) have a significant amount of power, and that power if actually harnessed, can make all the difference. We cannot sit back anymore waiting for things to happen, we have to make things happen. I know, It seems like an unsurmountable task lies ahead, but truly simply taking the backseat while allowing politicians, many of whom are pushing 80 years old, to continue driving us to nowhere really makes no sense, especially considering that we (not them) are the ones stuck with the consequences of our inaction. We need to take over the wheel, and move this Country forward to at least protect our own future and future generations...So, listen to her perspective on the video below, like her page, check her out, check out KOWA Party, decide and get involved. For those that will say, better the devil you know than the devil you dont, It might be useful to consider that maybe; to effect CHANGE, we actually need to ex-CHANGE the old with the new. Bless!
