Dear family and friends, Last week was a magical one for Gil and I, not only because of his birthday, that was so nice and full of joy, but especially because GIL WAS RELEASED BY HIS SURGEON .... HIS BILIARY DUCTS ARE TOTALLY HEALED!! His biliary condition began four years ago, the reconstruction surgery was successful and was performed in June 2012 by one of the most prestigious surgeons in the world from The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Then, he had to follow a long and hard treatment, with frequent trips between Florida and Maryland, until the happy end last Tuesday. Your good wishes helped for this result and we thank you from our soul. At this point I want to tell you that there are no words and actions that can express our great gratitude to two couples that supported us during this long process, opening their heart, love, and home: my brother LIPON and sister-in-law SUSANA in Miami, and my cousins HUILO and JULIE in Maryland. I cannot imagine what we would have done without their support. May the Lord fills their lives with health, happiness, and success! We are going to take a relaxing period in the immediate future, and then we will continue with our dream of the School of Spanish/English that we had begun but had to put on stand by. A warm HUG from the bottom of my heart.
