Dear fellow bulls fans...lets stop with this Carmelo talk right now. First off theres still a month and a half left in the season. It way too early to think hes coming to the bulls or going to be a free agent. Second, weve seen all the hype before that the bulls are the perfect landing spot for a superstar. Back in 2010, it was the bulls are the ideal team for lebron or dwade to join neither of them Seriously considered the bulls. Weve also heard that Dwight Howard would be perfect with the bulls and we did nothing to try to get him here nor did he seem to want to. Third, in order for the bulls to get melo, they have to get extremely creative and probably have to trade Taj Gipson. That means in order to get a small forward, the bulls would have to amnesty one power forward and trade the other, leaving us a huge gaping hole at the 4 spot. Fifth, we have a very conservative owner and gms (weve gotta be the only team in pro sports with two gms) who dont like to throw big money at free agents. Lets look at this whole situation logically and not get too excited. Yes on paper we look great for melo, but paper doesnt do the talkin. If we can find a way to get him here awesome, but I for one will not be getting caught up in thinking he will be on the team next year. You should too and not allow yourself to be set up for disappointment when hes still playing for the Knicks or another team next year.
