Dear fellow educators, my name is Aaron Bregman and I am a Jewish History teacher at the Charles E. Smith JDS in Rockville, MD. I have been a part of JEDLAB for a little over a year and have been very interested in the ideas that have been shared here but rarely have I written anything. But now I am asking for your help. Obviously this summer has been a whirlwind of news from the Middle East which many of us have been constantly following. I teach a course on Modern Israel and the History of the Arab-Israeli Conflict at JDS, so as you can imagine, I have been trying to keep up with so many different sites and finding nuanced and insightful articles that could be valuable to use in the classroom. However, because of the magnitude of what is written these days its impossible to keep up. I was hoping that if there was an article that really stood out to you that you think would create important dialogue and discussion in a classroom about the Conflict or about Israeli society if you wouldnt mind sharing it with me?
