Dear friend: Hear is the letter about Rinpoche from Gerry in India ! Dear Pai Kuei and Ivis, Rinpoche is in the meditative stage at the moment since the day before. We are not sure how long this will take. Perhaps another day or two. Tenzin Tapar is the only person allowed to go into the room where he is in the lotus position. The Karmapa personally prepared for his meditative state and no one is allowed to enter the room other than Tenzin Tapar. I spoke to Tenzin tapar yesterday and he mentioned that his body is warm and is radiant. Visa and documents has been now arranged and they will fly him back in his current posture if possible. If not they will take him back by road. Khenchen Rinpoche, Sangtul Rinpoche and the rest of the family members together with Pema Longrul and another Rinpoche is also here and they are doing the prayers for him as well. KCR is in a separate place from us in the apartment and they all agreed that this is best to give peace and silence during his meditative state. Ama is coping well and has accepted that Rinpoche has gone to pureland. After his time here has ceased, 2 minutes later there were 3 earthquakes in Sikkim where Rinpoche is very close to the Rumtek Monastery where Karmapa is residing. As you all know the 16th Karmapa and over the various years too, Rinpoche is very close to Karmapa and as such with this connection, it is destined that Rinpoche choose to leave here where the Karmapa is currently in New Delhi. The Karmapa has visited Rinpoche a few times even when he was in the hospital. All of us did want to have him to Malaysia etc etc.However this was destined that he is with Karmapa.? Prayers will be done for 49 days and all well wishes will be able to see rinpoche remains in Pharping. After the 49 days they will decide as they need to get Namchi Minjur Dorje from Tibet to come over. At this stage it is not sure whether he will be able to travel out of Tibet. If not then the decision will be to cremate Rinpoche remains in Pharping. Everyone here is taking it well and please advise all of Rinpoche students and followers not to grief but to rejoice. Rinpoche has also given instructions on what to do to Tenzin Tapar during his last hours and this include the taking of the crown,purba and some of the precious relics back to the monastery in Tibet.? It was also informed that the doctors here believe that rinpoche has the special powers and this has been seen in that he has no blockages in his brain identified during the CT scan eventhough his organs were shutting down.
