Dear friend The Stand Up To Racism and Fascism march and rally in Glasgow on 22 March is only just over one week away. Supported by STUC, UAF Scotland, Glasgow Campaign to Welcome Refugees, Positive Action in Housing, Scottish Refugee Council, Friends of Romano Lav, numerous trades councils across Scotland, most major trade unions including EIS, UNITE, PCS, UCU and UNISON. In addition, MPs, MSPs, Councillors and senior politicians of all the main political parties have also declared their support along with The Glasgow Girls Campaign, The Equality Network and many, many more. The march will be lead off by the raucous all female drum band SheBoom and at the rally there will be singers, poets, face painting and speakers. Stand up to racism and fascism. No to scapegoating immigrants. No to Islamophobia. Yes to diversity! Saturday March 22 at 10.30 in George Square, Glasgow We need another push from you to get the word out. It is our chance to challenge the racist scapegoating and toxic climate on migration, so please help make it as big and as diverse as possible. This is our final organizing meeting before M22, please come and publicise through your networks. Transport available from Edinburgh, Dundee and Berwick to the 22 March demo in Glasgow. Dundee bus leaves Unite premises 110 Blackness Road Dundee 8.30am on March 22nd.
