Dear friend The Stand Up To Racism and Fascism march and rally in Glasgow on 22 March is only just over one week away. Supported by STUC, UAF Scotland, Glasgow Campaign to Welcome Refugees, Positive Action in Housing, Scottish Refugee Council, Friends of Romano Lav, numerous trades councils across Scotland, most major trade unions including EIS, UNITE, PCS, UCU and UNISON. In addition, MPs, MSPs, Councillors and senior politicians of all the main political parties have also declared their support along with The Glasgow Girls Campaign, The Equality Network and many, many more. The march will be lead off by the raucous all female drum band SheBoom and at the rally there will be singers, poets, face painting and speakers. Stand up to racism and fascism. No to scapegoating immigrants. No to Islamophobia. Yes to diversity! Saturday March 22 at 10.30 in George Square, Glasgow We need another push from you to get the word out.
