Dear friends, Assalamualaikum, hope you all doing fine. I am delighted to let you know that the Law Society approved my application to be a Solicitor of England & Wales from today. I was called in 2006 by the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn as a Barrister of England & Wales. I was also called in 1994 by Bangladesh Bar as an Advocate, studied BVC/PGDL/ Professional Legal Skills at Inns of Court School of Law (ICSL)/City University, LL.B (Hons)/University of Wolverhampton, LLB (Hons) & LL.M from University of Dhaka, Diploma in Human Rights from Humanist & Ethical Association of Bangladesh (HEAB). I had the privilege to sit as an Asst. Judge (2000-2005) Barisal Judges Court, Bangladesh but resigned from Judiciary in 2005 protesting the killing of my 2 fellow judges. I was trained at Bhuiyan, Zabir & Sunnah Law Associates, Dhaka and Barristers Common Law Chambers, London (Chamber of Barrister Altafur Rahman). Currently, I am the Head of Chambers at Chowdhury Hafizur Rahman & Associates, Bangladesh. I practice in the United Kingdom & Bangladesh simultaneously. My aim is to serve & coordinate among Law, Liberty & Life. Its really challenging but I am still doing it passionately, interested in all aspects of Law.
