Dear friends, Because I’d never get around to preparing a letter and mailing it, here is a Facebook Christmas Card. I am glad for the Christmas season being an opportunity to gather together with family and friends. This is a season of joy and celebration. I hope it is a time of rest, peace, and fellowship for all. I have been seeing all of the Facebook, “This is my Year” slideshows and I won’t create one, because there won’t be much content in it. I hope that is the opposite for my life and your life as well; that our outside world provides so much more than we capture with posts and photos. I have been very blessed this past year to have a career job in Houston, TX, an apartment of my own, a nice vehicle to get around in, and spending time with Eric, Rose, Luke and soon to be Lily Luvaas. I have been a part of a good church home in Second Baptist North campus and been able to serve as a teacher for a Bible Study class and make some friends within my peer group at church. I am also proud to be a part of Know the Covering Ministries and am hoping for the mission of seeing Men’s hearts awakened to Jesus Christ and becoming dependent on Him as the source of Life. For my faith, Christmas is a day to recognize the arrival of Jesus Christ. I want my life to show that I follow Christ and it would be encouragement to those who believe and an invitation to know Him to those who do not.
