Dear friends! Here are some photos from the opening of the Art exhibition in Ariel on Monday which will be opened till February 15th. A few words about the exhibition from the organisers. “Israeli Artists for Ariel” is the name of the group exhibition by the art studio Mansohn House. This is the third “visit “ of the studio (headed by Sasha Ganelin) and many artists who are living in the Centre of Israel and are coming to support Ariel with their art. These artists consider it an honour to exhibit their work in the city of Ariel (a city who’s status is always contested and is boycotted frequently due to its location behind the so called “Green Line”) and happily participate in the exhibition. Some of the participants are citizens of Ariel, artists such as the excellent landscape artists and teacher Boris Karavanov, and the painter Benjamin Raichlin. The curator is an Israeli painter and a long time art curator for the Centre of Culture, Rachel Ziv. The exhibition is supported by with support of Ministry of Immigration and Absorption Center for Absorption of Immigrant Artists and returning residents The exhibition is already open to visitors until February 15th. The grand opening was held on Monday, January 5th 2015 at 19:00 with the participation of the artists themselves.
