Dear friends, I am dt.captain Adnan Saleem, professionally i am a pilot but because of the life long suffering of my mother due to obesity, I have devoted my life to fight against obesity and food borne diseases in Pakistan. For this purpose, I have done M.Sc. Human nutrition and dietetics, and till date, I have conducted hundreds of awareness sessions in different areas of Pakistan, currently I am hired as diet consultant by Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air force and Aga khan research center, I conduct awareness sessions in schools, colleges, universities and multi-national companies, earn money from them and then use all of that money to organize awareness sessions in poor areas of Pakistan. One of my current projects is studying role of nutrition in Polio for infants and children age 6 months to 24 months, sponsored by WHO and carried out under supervision of Aga khan hospital. I also give monthly appearances on health tv and vibe tv. I need volunteers; resources, sponsors and/or media help to carry on this activity more effectively.
