Dear friends, I came home after a brief holiday of 5-days in the Ward 49 of National Hospital Sri Lanka from 12th-16th July 2013. I had to go there upon being invited by St. Peter early in the morning of Friday 12th July 2013. My Doctor-Relatives-in-law advised me to get a medical certificate before visiting St. Peter because St. Peter does not accept people with poor health. I was discharged in the evening of !6th July 2013, with a schedule of strict compliance. This is the first e-mail I am sending after 11th July 2013 and I cannot type that fast now due to finger tips of my left hand being still numb a bit. So apologies for temporarily suspending responding to e-mails. Keep on sending me "good stuff" but refrain from phoning me. Regards, Thilina Kiringoda PS: To Dr. Joel Fernando- Edwin, an 85-year old farmer from Kaduwela, who was warded in the same enclosure of Ward 49, told me that those who smoked cannabis never suffered from Diabetes and BP. (He also told me that his paternal grandpa was a practitioner of indigenous medicine and died peacefully at the age of 115 and the grandma at 105. The only problem my ward-mate had was irregular bowel movements and until the day he was discharged no movements for nearly a month.) If medical Research finds it true a substitute for green Tea can be found because smoking cannabis is a punishable offence but drinking is not. I will volunteer to be a Guinea Pig if a researcher is interested in conducting research on this.
