Dear friends, I went to the hospital yesterday, and met our new oncology junior doctor for the first time. She is very nice, but she doesnt know about Alfie. (Someone will enlighten her, but we didnt have time during our appointment.) She is pleased with my progress, happy with my x-ray, and is referring me to the physiotherapists. She also says there is no medical reason why I cant drive... so I will be pursuing that pretty soon! I am already shuffling round the house with no crutches and no zimmer (only short distances - the zimmer is hugely convenient though because it means I can carry stuff in its handy bucket on the front) and I am hoping that I will improve further.
