Dear friends :) Once again thank you for your efforts and contributions to make the soup kitchen a success! Now, down to business. We make it a habit of having a debriefing session immediately after each event. At our last debriefing session it was suggested that we have a planning retreat on 6-7 September. The aim of the planning retreat would be to establish structure within our organisation, and, at the same time, establish: who we are, what we want to achieve and discuss the administrative requirements to meet these goals. In addition, we want to discuss long term and short term projects, skills development, resources, funding and just have a good time getting to know each other :) ALL ARE WELCOME! BUT: you would have to confirm by next Friday, 22 August. you can do so by sending me an inbox or simply commenting on this post. The cost? TBC once the venue is confirmed. The venue? We are in the hunt for a house, from the suggestions gathered, preferably close to the see. Any suggestions? There perhaps anyone that can get a house at a very cheap rate or for free? The agenda for the planning retreat will be made available asap. The idea is that we come geared with ideas and proposals because we CAN :) Have a awesome weekend!
