Dear friends, PREVENTION OF BLIND BELIEF AND HUMILATION TO THE DALIT COMMUNITY AT UDIPI –MADE SNANA Let my grab a handful minute of your attention for Madhe Snana which is Practicing in Karnataka northern region where the people have adopted the superstitious belief of this activities in this modern century and the ritual are in still in existence .As a lay man I can say that the science has certified that man is the destiny of his own character. But although people of the downtrodden community follow the old tradition of ritual and other associated task which has implemented by other community for broadcasting that they are supremacy in this nation. Is it true or not that a common man have to ask to other brethren who is having all sort of scientific knowledge in the Vedas and Bhagwat Gita if the Acharaya can convince to the believers by compulsion and wash out the brain of them as they are dominant rulers. Then no one can oppose them because the downtrodden community are victimized by these trends under the rein of Pandit those who are modern devils /satan on this glorious heavenly earth.Today iam very regret to inform you that the actual occurrence are practice in Uttara Kannada region where the people have been discriminated on the basis of religious belief .The people of Karnataka region particularly from the udipi region where the temple is elevated namely called subramanaya Temple in which this kind of notorious activities is functioning mainly for dalit community who do not adequate knowledge and forcibly made them to follow this kind of tradition for their ulterior motives in order to get them fame and publicity as well as source of income .This is disgrace to the civil society where the poor downtrodden community is playing this kind of act under the direction of scholar and rulers which is well known to the common citizen of India .In this modern world particularly from the scholar community those who are addicted to run mandir in the society are humiliating to the dalit community to follow this act and perverting them to roll over banana leaves for which the Brahmin have eaten their food.In my opinion and public view this is one kind of atrocities where the government has not taken any initiative despite there is a separate commission for these communities .As the government itself is violating the guidelines and encouraging them to render this kind of dramatic act then to whom we have to plead for getting the natural justice .It is really disgusting that the government is neglected to these dalit community for carrying out the ridiculous work which is not at all appreciated as a mankind and morality .For this kind of act the government is totally responsible for such kind of discrimination for not encountering to the culprit those who are operating such kind o f moral turpitude inorder for maintaining their benefits and illogical rehabilitation programme. Further I urge that the government should constitute the monitoring committee headed by dalit judges in Karnataka region to scrutinize the complaints received under this kind of tradition and ritual practice.It is also pertinent to note that where the national commission has gone when the government has established the organization for giving the natural justice.Conversely , I appeal that if this kind of act is not going to stop then I presume that all the rules and regulation amended in the law is bogus which is immaterial to follow the present system.On the other hand , if the government is not taking proactive measures then a common citizen of india should take active participation for eradicating the present policy for which the pandit has imposed on the downtrodden community.This is the fact that the policy has adopted for earning the money and getting the publicity for attracting the tourist people and defaming the dalit people .As per survey report conducted in the surrounding region of udipi city where the temple is situated it has come across the actual information that the people of that region are evolved for preparing the beedi therefore it cause the skin disease which is affected to the common dalit people and as result people are suffering various epidemic disease .The main important mania is that our people does not have brain being we are animal not a human being .Supposing we are man then this kind of environment was not blown up in the surrounding region of that vicinity . When we reveals the history then we may find that The Made Snana is a Haraki (offering to God in exchange for the granting of a wish), practiced to prevent skin diseases. This particular form of Haraki is held every year during the feast of Champa Shashti and Dalits are expected to roll on banana leaves containing scraps of food consumed by the Brahmins earlier. Those who practice the Made Snana must eat frugal meals for a week. After serving lunch to the Brahmins, a temple priest sprinkles holy water on the leaves and breaks a coconut as an offering to the deity. The ritual is over 400 years old. According to legend Samba, the son of Krishna, during the Dwapura Yuga (according to Hinduism, the third of four eras of evolution of life, ed) defeated leprosy rolling on banana leaves, on which his devotees had consumed food. In 1979 the Made Snana was abolished, but was soon reinstated because of the protests of the devotees wherein the Brahmin community has carried out the procession and inspired to the dalit people to follow the old tradition . As a layman one can give more importance to the Acharya and pundits because they have possessed adequate knowledge in the Vedas and our people are not trying to know the actual content of our fundamental right resultantly we are in deprived situation.Many people have been doomed the practice not merely by invoking the violation of human rights ,human dignity or describing it as barbaric act indicating the blind beliefs but the Brahmin community of the region has made false practice on the basis of misconstruction for maintaining the tradition for their hidden goal and source of income. Neverthless if you examine no dalit people have prosperous following this kind of ritual practice but the Brahmin community have spread out in the regime that this make them holy spirit and forcibly carry out the emotional blackmail to the dalit community. Let us imagine this ritual practice is real then i personally feel that no one will visit to the skin dermatologist for taking such kind of treatment .So i appeal to our dalit people and also other progressive group to leave out such kind of blind belief and oppose to the regime for ruling out their hidden goal and stop their source of income. If not then allow them to carry out their person to roll over the banana plantain leaves and do the publicity but in real sense they will not do because they are intellectual predator to the dalit community.Therefore i once again undersigned requesting that our people should believe our self that we are superior caste in the society and maintain the equality and fraternity amongst ourselves. Because society is created by us if we are rigid to maintain the status of our personality then no one can prevent and defeat to us.But for this we have to encourage our people and build the personality development for accomplishing over them .On the other hand it is also learnt that the Ex chief minister of Karnataka Sadananda Gowda / B. S. Yeddyurappa is also devotees of that temple for which the temple founder have got support from them .Moreover , the celebrities like Anil Kumble , Sachin Tendulkar , Rahul dravid and film actoress Hemamalini are member of the temple then why not they roll over the banana leaves and make the history that the power is generated in the temple .It is only they are making the dalit people humiliation and enjoying the right and other benefits for their hidden goal .so at last i beg to the dalit people and other religion those who are evolving in this practice to abolish this act .Before concluding the above episode i further wish to state that and construe the verdict Death with dignity is better than life with humiliation.
