Dear friends, There are several milestones in a childs life when the villages input can have the greatest impact. I am requesting your support to help the littlest ones get a firm foundation in life. Please donate during the 18 hours on Thursday, Sept. 18 through the North Texas Giving Day and give 25 dollars or more to the Braswell Child Development Center, a Spida Inc. facility in South Dallas. The center provides quality, affordable daycare for multicultural children of low-wage parents. From infancy through pre-school, the center works diligently to prepare their charges for kindergarten. The before and afterschool programs provides a safe environment for students to complete homework, have a snack and engage in supervised, fun activities. The center wants to ensure the children have a level starting ground. In todays age of technology, understanding computers is mandatory. Among many needs, the most urgent is to purchase equipment, software and training to create a computer lab that will include teaching age-appropriate lessons ranging from using I-Pads to creating html coding.
