Dear friends and followers. We have, for a while now, posted about and promoted our debut album ”Takes Two” on Baile Musik . And now, it’s almost time for release. In eleven days, the vinyl will be for sale, and we are so exited. The idea of the album occurred approximately two and a half years ago and grew from the idea, that the human being is not meant to be alone, but that we are meant to be with each other. The first track that was done was the title track “Takes Two”. Originally it was a pop song written by Leman and Ms. O, but after a few nights in the studio, a beautiful remix occurred. From that track flourished the idea of describing the different aspects of love and the process of a breakup – Out of love, outside of love, back to love and back to the realization that it almost always takes two thrive. Everyday, starting today, we will share with you the story of the 10 albums tracks. – The story of the productions and the meaning of the tracks. And on Wednesday the 14th of October we have a very special surprise for you all. The first track on the album is called “The Meeting”. It features the Swedish singer TYRA, and it is a track mainly driven by the vocal and percussions. All synths are made with Waldorf Blofeld and Juno 106, and all percussions are recorded in our studio. Everything is amped and EQ’ed by our old Roland PA 150 mixer, which is what gives the track this gritty sound. “The Meeting” is about the first meeting after a rough breakup. The feeling of seeing the one who betrayed you for the first time, and then realizing that it was probably all for the best, but also that the person who left you, is the one who regrets it by now.
