Dear friends/family, In case you didnt know, I run a small - TopicsExpress

Dear friends/family, In case you didnt know, I run a small independent record/music label, ears&eyes Records, that helps amazingly great artists release original and sincere music. Below (below) is a sample of what we offer, along with short descriptors of music mucho and where you can listen. And if youre interested, Im ready to give away FREE digital download codes of our Volume Two Sampler loaded with what weve been doing in the last year! For FREE! Im ready... free! Just comment below!!!! This: earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/album/volume-two So, yes, its a plea: shop local, support fellow artists, or at the least share with someone that might be interested, or just plain share. SHARE! Were eager to have this music heard by as many as possible. Its not a plea to sell records (though, awesome), but more so for you and many more of you to hear these great efforts put forth in the form of aural exploration and beauty. A lot of these bands/groups have a jazz tinge, but its far from your normal jazz; meaning, even if youre not a fan of jazz, theres probably something youd really, really dig. And if youre a fan of jazz-type music, theres plenty here to really open (and blow) your mind/brain part(s). And if you dare, you could also like us on FaceBook (though, we all know thats a scam, seeing how most of the posts only get seen by a tiny bit of fans and even when I pay for more views, its still a scam).... but like away. Here are some of our other (more useful) websites: earsandeyesrecords twitter/earseyesrecords soundcloud/earseyesrecords earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp A sampling:..... :) Looking for Caroline Davis to lead an awesome quartet of original and bad ass classic tunes through depths you wouldnt fathom?, and had you done, I, along with everyone, would applause loudly. Featuring https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/passive-cloud Love bass? Love double bass? Love double bass solos? What about an entire album dedicated to reinventing entire songs into one instrument not meant to be a solo band? Daniel Jackson Thatcher does it in this double set release. https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/in2 (Im a bass player), but this group decides to leave him/them/me out. Bass-less groove, exploring, guitar-supporting group goes places not explored, featuring again Caroline Davis, Charles Rumback and Jeff Swanson in Whirlpool. https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/freedom-waves-flotilla What about dancing? At least, sort of. What about taping your foot to rhythms that you dont understand, but still can? This Chicago-based Peruvian percussionist has put together an ALL STAR group to play his tunes. Its a mix of jazz and loads of latin rhythms!!! And did I mention ALL STAR group! Juan Pastors Chinchano! https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/fina-estampa And then we move into the more free and exploratory noise realm. Chris Teal leads Quintopus first record was an acoustic-driven, badassery collection of amazing Eastman School of Music cats tearing up many streets. Here, Teal, Mike Kaupa, Mike Frederick, and myself transform Quintopus into a free wielding, noise flaring explosion of communication and again, badassery. https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/part-one-fast Freely improvised music; no discussing, no composing, no rehearsing allowed. Myself, Caroline Davis and Quinlan Kirchner! https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/passion-ball A brand new release from piano-leader, Paul Bedal, featuring Marquis Hill, Charles Rumback (Ch Ru), Caroline Davis, and Matt Ulery through interesting and developing grooves. https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/eve-of-a-fortnight Folk, jazz, rock artists Bill MacKay & Matthew Lux explore some of Bills standards along with freely improvising an EP of live music at the Experimental Sound Studio! https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/black-leaves Another brand new great jazz record coming out next week! A fully-rounded album led by bassist Joel Kelsey and sax-ist Alex Beltran! https://earsandeyesrecords.bandcamp/track/delays And theres more! earsandeyesrecords/earsandeyesrecords/releases.html
