Dear friends, musicians, party people, beloved ones – Weve worked hard to get to this moment, and weve given birth to the first full album of ZO13. Working on this album was a deep and exciting experience, in which weve launched our all new Wavos studio studio in Beit-Oren, and created in the atmosphere we love so much – in the nature, a wide view to the woods, sheep hording and birds tweeting. DON’T PUSH IT is not an ordinary album. It is recorded completely LIVE, no editing, no loops. The electronic is hot, knob twisting – post-manipulations turned down to minimum. It wasnt simple, and it doesnt happen too often – but it worked out. Not just thanks to us, but also thanks to some great minds who took part in this project: To deliver such an accurate drums recording, that will meet our needs, weve enjoyed the work of Eran Alpern , who was also in charge of all the technical side, and brought excellent results. We thank Echo Morgenstern for being our voice in this album. To take this whole musical vision, and bring in to mixing and mastering, we were lucky enough to have Ronen Hillel. Lior Zissman was in charge of turning the instrumental experience into a visual one. We also thank Yarden Man for his amazing photography. 3 years in which we have learned everything about electronic creation with live instruments, in which we have made friends for life, gathered a great crowd from Israel and abroad, and dreamed of taking this music to the world – have drained in to this album.
