Dear friends n family. Please see this video and read my post. Many of you my friends and family are brilliant business, caring people. Perhaps you have ideas for the team out here in Guatemala on how to raise funds or start a business to raise funds... We were working here yesterday. This is our favorite project out here so far in Guatemala. Its a long term program for 80 children. Breakfast and lunch before and after school plus tutoring and mentoring. These kids moms are single and 6 year old children have been found taking care of their 1 year Old siblings. Because their moms are working all day for less than $2.00 per day. Lucky if they get to eat once a day. Most children are not allowed to go to school because they have to work. Please contact me because right now funds are only available for 30 kids. The volunteers give them a place to feel safe and a family environment, a place to be motivated to keep going to school, to eat, to study. Right now the kids do homework on the floor. Not enough funds to have plenty of tables and chairs. We have so much and it takes so little. If you would like to help with a small amount monthly or one amount for board games, tables, chairs, etc.... or any fundraising ideas Please send me a message. The goal is to open many centers exactly like this. Its already planned just needs ideas to raise funds.
