Prior to that she just won Miss kebaya, Ipoh. It was not her beauty that she gambled but her true confidence and revenge for her ex boy friend Mr Fatt. Fatt was a real playboy, showing of his new bigger ehem girl friend to the naive Michelle on her very birthday, that September. She felt so crushed and thought everyone was laughing at her. That night she was sitting in front of the mirror at her dressing table contemplating suicide when she realized something she never noticed before. She felt beautiful, very beautiful indeed, if only she smiles. The phonogram at her back was playing a sad melancholic song like making fun of her. At the dressing table a newspaper was lying open, with a big advertisement... Ipoh Kebaya contest, first prize, holiday to Singapore and ringgit 500, second place...to Pangkor island.....She kept thinking...... Hahaha...no ....this is not Michelle Yeohs bag. Night.....
