Dear friends, recalling the epic storm in Iceland a year ago March... Our group was stranded in Reykjavik , as was everyone else with road closures. But it gave us a chance to see more sights locally we might not otherwise have seen. I recall my efforts to capture this fish drying rack I was very interested in. The rest of the group went a different direction to capture a lighthouse, I have seen plenty of lighthouses but for me this was more interesting structure! I had to Crawl on my hands and knees about 100 yards for this image and nearly got blown into the frigid North Atlantic ocean right there. Winds constant at 65 mph gusting to 95, and we had those conditions for Days, during most of the trip. I could not Think of standing up against those winds. For me this evokes the harshness and solitude, yes I had fun playing around with the processing .
