Dear god I am so sick of the discussions on immigration and how it is dominating the political discussion. The problem is lack of resources. Immigrants *are* a resource - they make up 35% of NHS staff. The problem is the continual class war of austerity politics, and I am in a continual state of twitching rage that the scapegoating appears to be working. The problem is not immigrants taking the jobs, its a lack of jobs. The problem is not immigrants taking the houses, its a lack of houses. The problem is not immigrants filling up the NHS waiting lists, its a lack of resources to properly run the NHS. The problem is not immigrants filling up the roads its racists running for government.
