Dear libertines, Many of you have honored us with your feedback on our latest album For Bidens and most of you are making a special remark on the second part of the Clamor Luna trilogy, Reggina Est. We have had numerous of you asking about the poem spoken by the old woman in this song and what is actualy says. The poem is entitled Vrikolakas, Thanasis Vayas (Vampire, Thanasis Vayas) by Hellenic poet Aristotelis Valaorites. The part in Reggina Est says............ Tell me why you are standing there Thanasis without speaking, like a relic, in front of my eyes? Why do you come out at night Thanasis? Is not there sleep for you in Hades? Now many years have passed since they put you deep in the earth Go away, spare me, I shall sleep Leave me in peace to rest Your crime has drifted me away See what I have become? Thanasis go away Everyone is avoiding me Nobody gives your widow any pity Stand further... you are obsuring me Thanasis what did I do, you are scaring me Why are you green, you smell like soil Tell me Thanasis, havent you rotten yet? Lightly unveil your shroud worm grave in your face You God damned, look at them they are flying they come upon me to eat me Tell me why do you come with such mayhem? Dont you hear? It is a craving Why did you get out of your grave? Where are you coming from? What did you come to see?
