Dear loving Father, I give all praises and thanks to You for my life, that of my family, friends and even that of those that hate me without a cause. Thank you for a good night rest and for this brand new day. LORD Almighty, as I remember the prayer Your Son thought us, Im made to understand more that we look more like Jesus Christ when we learn to forgive. (Colossians 3:13). I also learnt that it is the measure of forgiveness I give out to others that comes back to me from You. Give me the type of heart that You have always - a heart that loves no matter the provocation. Today I ask for this special grace from You to always forgive those who: hurt, try to kill my joy, back-bite, blackmail, smeer, try to assassinate my character and even those that try to go to the extreme of killing me spiritually and physically, etc. May I never have any reason not to forgive them but to always look at the Cross where Your Son forgave all who nailed Him to the Cross including me. Help me to always know that You promised to fight all our battles when we give You the time and space. Help me not to pray for the death of my enemies but to pray for their repentance and forgiveness. Help us always to stay focused on Your Words and not the interpretations of man. I ask that You bless me today again and may my joy be complete in You, through Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour. Amen.
