Dear mommy friends, as a fellow mother, You can understand how certain things make me cringe.I know Arella is the most precious thing in my life. I am trying to write this, softly, so that I dont come across harsh/brash/holier than thou. Please hear me out. Many of you, have posted pictures of your SO adorable children in their carseats. The thing is, their chest clip is over their belly button, or looks like theyre choking them. Chest clips serve as a pre-crash positioner. Meaning that, it keeps the harness straps in place over your childs shoulders. The clip, when used properly, keeps the car seat harness in the right place against the childs shoulders, so that crash forces are distributed over the strongest parts of the childs upper body. It needs to go armpit-armpit! Please check your childs carseat to make sure it is installed correctly. The fire department will do this for you if you cannot. Check the chest clips! It will take literally 5-20 seconds to move it where it needs to go!
