Dear mummies, would like to know how often you had to breast feed your newborn to establish a good supply? Mine is 5 days old and am still trying to figure out my feeding routine or plan. So far Ive been feeding like every two hourly or less and CL has been topping her up with FM saying she still looks hungry. I went for a short nap just now and she has been topped up with 60ml of FM despite the 20ml EBM I gave her after DL before I went to sleep! Now its been 4 hours since my last latch and she is still sleeping. Im confused with all this feeding & topping ups now, I need some directions and guidance to proceed. Thanks!
