Dear people, due to the proceedings happening in the last few hours we feel forced to tell us our point of view. What we are talking about is everything in connection with the King Nine/ Last Dayz show planned for this sunday. The plan was to set up a sick show with a huge lineup. Thats why we decided to book 6 bands in total to make this a special night. After receiving only 10 presale tickets we decided to talk to Stronger Bookings (SB) about the guarantee for the headliner, King Nine. This happen over 1 week ago! Continuous talking to SB about the guarantee during the last days to find a solution without getting a positive answer we were more and more scared to lose a huge amount of money. We truly lost a lot of money during the last 5 years of shows but never was the risk that high like with this show... After he sent us a new deal we were just not able to move the show in a cheaper and/ or smaller venue to do the show. It is heartbreaking that people we formerly called friends and we helped a lot with other tours or with their own band in the past are now reacting in such a disrespectful way and posting this kind of statement online, in public instead of talking to us personally. For sure the distances between us are too long to talk in person, but it helps no one to discredit us with that. This is the first show ever we had to cancel! The worst fact is that we had to do this because of money problems - what shouldnt be an issue, actually. To make the whole situation a little bit more clear and few facts about us and what we are doing: Stateless is not a company or a serious business. We have a lot of helping hands surrounding us but financially and organisationally it is operated from two guys. One is a student with a part time job and one is working here and there in projects. Long story short: We are more than happy that SB was able with the help of Sharp Dart Booking to find a replacement show. We are really sorry about the trouble we caused the bands and their booking agents/ friends. We could not be more upset about the fact that we disappoint the bands and the people who wanted to see the bands in Berlin. This is not what we normally do and this will probably the only time we do this and we can only hope that we still have your respect for the shows we did and for the shows we will do just because thats the only thing we expect.
