Dear players Here is a preview of todays new Raid Boss Tourney, and as ever, we reserve the right to change anything here before it goes live. (And yes, that really IS a ranged sword this week :) ) The Root of Evil - Oct 23rd to Oct 30th ------------------------------------------------- Raid Bosses Events feature a super-strong enemy that appears randomly as you quest (PvE) through the Underworld. This Tournaments extremely tough Raid Boss is the Sabnac, a Liquid Card, so be sure to bring your most powerful Earth Cards to fight him! There are two ways to earn rewards during this Raid Boss Event. First, a Point system is in place to provide end-of-event Ranking Rewards. Summoning, Participating, Killing Blow, and Most Damage on Sabnac will all provide different Points that count towards the Event Ranking. Sabnac will be provided as the Ranking Reward. The points you will get are as follows… Easy Green : summon=30 kill =10 attack=3 Most Damage = 10 Normal Green : summon=30 kill =20 attack=10 Most Damage = 20 Easy Yellow : summon=30 kill =30 attack=15 Most Damage = 30 Normal Yellow : summon=30 kill =40 attack=20 Most Damage =40 Easy Purple : summon=30 kill =60 attack=30 Most Damage = 60 Normal Purple : summon=30 kill =80 attack=40 Most Damage = 80 Secondly, the Sabnacs appearance provides you a chance to fight and defeat him and stand a chance of dropping a Super Rare Weapon shard (Perseuss Cleaver), if you do the most damage to him. Smaller rewards such as coins and FP will be given to others who participate. An advantage card, Pans Pendant, is available during this Event which will give a damage multiplier to the unit it is equipped to and it also gives a Event point multiplier. ---------------------------- **Sabnac – Ranking Reward (This card will be given as a reward to Leader Board Ranking Players) Deep below the surface of the earth and buried buy eons of dirt, rock, and bones… there is a tomb. Inside this tomb lie remnants of the great hero Perseus whose father was Zeus and grandfather was the titan Uranus. From the bones of this hero a great tree has grown. Over centuries its roots traveled downward through the earth searching for somewhere dark to sprout. Never once did the tree reach upward for the sun. Slowly, they penetrated into the chasms of Infernum. For a millennium the tree gestated in the energies of hatred and agony from hell until at last, it awaked. Imbued with the warrior spirit of the hero Perseus, it yearns for conquest and war. It is hardy and strong. Its limbs are formed from twisted tendrils of bark and wood each the size of a freight train. Its trunk is too large for any axe to cut through and swords shatter when tested against it. The legendary tree known as Sabnac is a force to be reckoned with. Those foolish enough to attack this wandering warrior will be met with the all of the raging ferocity of this monster. Keep your distance or be crushed. ----------------------------- **Pans Pendant – Advantage card (This card provides special advantages during this event) The cult of Pan once had thousands of followers spread out across many islands of ancient Greece. The People of Pan as they were called lived a slow and happy life. But then Perseus came. They met Perseuss followers with offerings of peace. The conqueror wanted only one thing however. Total War. He put the people to the sword and burned their civilization to the ground. Nothing remains in the mortal world of the People of Pan. Many now reside in Hell, and are willing to offer their powers to the Hell Invaders to help destroy Sabnac. Although he is not Perseus, he contains the last traces of his soul and must be destroyed none the less. The People of Pan will not rest until they have their revenge. ---------------------------- **Perseuss Cleaver – Drop Chance (Shards of this item can drop from Sabnac) Perseuss Cleaver is a sword of pure Admantine which was given to him by his father Zeus and imbued with the power of lightning. Far too lofty and ornamental to wield in hand to hand combat, Perseus used this weapon to sling lightning bolts at his enemies. It was buried with Perseus many millennia ago. As the great tree grew, the sword was broken to shards which now reside within Sabnac. These shards can be obtained by defeating Sabnac in battle and then be reconstructed into Perseuss Cleaver with the HellForge. -------------------------- **Pans Pendant advantage Outside of Infernum, Pans Pendants power is not to be underestimated, but even greater powers will flow through it when pitted against Sabnac during this special event. Any disciple equipped with Pans Pendant will have its damage increased 5x when being used within Event Island this week. The Event Point multiplier is +30% if you have the Pans Pendant equipped to a disciple in your combat deck during this event. Any friends disciple equipped with Pans Pendant brought to battle will not give you any EP % bonus, but they will still have the damage multiplier. Pans Pendant should be equipped to an Earth element disciple for best results this week. ------------------------- **Perseuss Cleaver – Shard Drop Chance Within Event Island, if you play on stages 5, 10, 15 and 20, you have a chance that you will find one of these shards if you win the battle. It is only possible to find 50 of these shards. Once you find 50, no more will drop. The % chances of getting a shard drop are as follows Namtar = 20% Rabisu = 34% Tunam = 40% Irkalla = 50% -------------------------- **Ranking and Rewards For the next week you can battle against Sabnac on Infernum (Event Island). He can be won by Ranking Rewards. After this event Sabnac will not return for at least 3 months. Event Summon For this weeks Event Island Tournament, we will have the Box style event summon. Each player has a box containing 100 equipment shards. The box will contain the 10 shards needed to create Pans Pendant and also 90 other R3 type shards. You can either summon 1 shard for 50g, or you can summon 10 shards at once for 500g. Shards will be PULLED AT RANDOM from your box from the pool of 100 shards. !!WARNING!! Once you have created Pans Pendant, make very sure you are equipping it to the correct disciple as equipment CANNOT be removed. The Theme of this event is Liquid, so make sure your Earth disciples are fighting fit!
