We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products and service based projects in meaningful ways. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. Responsibilities Ø Write “clean”, well designed code Ø Produce detailed specifications Ø Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong Optimization and functionality Ø Experience of working through an entire project cycle - implementation, review, testing and documentation Ø Follow industry best practices Ø Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary Ø Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving. Ø Understanding of open source projects like Moodle, SugarCRM, Joomla, Wordpress, Magento etc Ø Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery etc Ø Intermediate knowledge of web services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON Ø Good knowledge of relational databases MySQL Ø Good to have knowledge of BIG DATA. Ø Must have used version control tools SVN, CVS, GITS .
