Dear teenager, Allow me to say something, on behalf of your young parents. - Have you ever considered how embarrassed your parents feel when they have to explain that you are pregnant or you have impregnated some elses daughter? - Have you considered just how they feel in having to admit that their child is a school dropout. (While the child is brilliant or at least has an ability to learn, and, the funds are not a problem). - Have you wondered how a young parent of 40, feels when she/he is suddenly supposed to be called, Granny or Grandpa! - Have you ever wondered how it makes them feel to know, finally, that your brilliance is only applicable at home, in the streets, you are just a brainless follower. - Have you stopped to wonder how it made them feel when they learnt that you were sleeping with a man, the same age as your own father, or even dating a woman, old enough to be your mom. Please consider this: - Life does not revolve around you, alone. - Parents, too, have hopes and dreams which include you. I may not have mentioned your scenario, word for word, however it is still painful, to them. O tla ba strong!, most idiots are heard saying when they perform a selfish act.
