Dear youth from Switzerland, We are happy that to inform you the training course "Answers in the Mirror" has been approved by the European Union Youth in Action Program and looking for 3 participants from Switzerland to send Ankara training. The dates of the training are 12 – 18 September 2013 (12 arrival, 18 departures) The countries & number of the participants is: Georgia: 2 Switzerland: 3 Romania:3 Slovakia: 3 Tunisia: 3 Ukraine: 3 Bulgaria: 3 Turkey: 2 Age limit: 18-30 year old (Group leader can be elder than 30) Topics of the training course: - Women in the society - Women in the media - Types of violence - Human rights / Women rights - Campaign creating/management - Visual Communication - Using painting art to fight against violence Objectives: - To raise awareness about genders and equality of people. - To gain knowledge on the issue. - To develop skill and gain knowledge about creating/managing a campaign. - To use art to fight against violence against women. - To learn more about human rights/women rights and democracy. - Develop future ideas to work on the issue Methodology: The training course was designed on the principles of experiential learning and non-formal education. We will also have guest experts, like journalists and visual artists and also we will do some field visits. Costs: The project is financed by the Youth in Action programme. Accomodation, visa and activity costs and %70 of the travel costs are covered by the programme. Each country has limited budget for travelling, after confirmations detailed infos will be sent. There is no participation fee.
