Dearest Abba, Father, as Your Holy Spirit is making me more and more like Jesus changing me into the glorious image of Him, help me to reflect His majestic glory to the world around me as a city set on a high hill. Open the eyes of my heart to the realities of the fullness of life in Jesus Christ so I can live a transcending life being fully alive in Jesus without the limitations of this visible but perishing world. Let my life be rooted deeply in Jesus Christ and be built on Him. Let my faith grow strong in the truth you are teaching me through Your living word so that my heart may overflow with thankfulness and to offer the sacrifice of praise to Your mighty name with the fruit of my lips. May it please you, Father, that you use my life for You to receive more and more glory. Grant me wisdom to see the troubles I am facing from Your vantage point so that I am full of thankfulness to You drawing me into a closer relationship with You. Help me live in the spirit and not just in flesh. Help me not to come into hasty conclusions out of the narrowness of my experience but help me to see everything in the perspective of your largeness who controls every aspect of my life. May I be strengthened with all Your glorious power so that I will have all the endurance and patience to tough out the storms of trials buffeting against my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
