Dearest Family and Friends. For the past month since the results of my PET/CT Scan showed recurrence of mets in some of my bones - iliac and lower spine and increase to 21? and growth of 2 liver lesions, our family prayed for our Lords guidance on what treatment to take. My cancer marker has increased to 400 + ( normal is 34). RFA doctor said that oblation is the least option since the liver mets are scattered and in sensitive positions. My Onco recommended the Avastin and Paclitaxel chemo treatment. She said that she will try it for 2 months and asses if the medicines are working, if it will give the desired results ( we pray it will ) she will give this to me for 6 cycles. I will be admitted on Oct. 2 and infusion will be on October 3 and every Friday after this date with one week rest after 3 Infusions. Treatment for the 6 cycles will be for 6 months. Onco said to expect the same side effects as my previous chemo. Please be with us again in prayer that the side effects will be minimal and that these medicines will be our Lords instrument for my complete healing.
