Dearest friends and family, Ive decided to take to FB to make things a little easier for my family and I to communicate dads condition and any updates. My parents were on a cruise when dad fell ill. They were in panama and were able to get to a hospital. My dads condition is very serious/critical. His blood pressure is very low, he is on dialysis, a ventilator & now has gastro-intestinal bleeding. He suffered a heart attack while here. His hemoglobin count is also very low. He has been given multiple treatments of blood, frozen plasma and platelets in order to assist his blood in coagulating so that the doctors could administer the dialysis treatment. My sister and I are here in Panama with my parents-- we arrived last night. The staff here have been amazing and they even allowed my sister and I to visit my dad well past ICU visiting hours. We are currently staying at the hospital in our own room. We ask that you limit calls at this time and check back here often. I will be updating this page as soon as there is one to provide. Feel free to post to this page. I will get your messages to my mom and dad. We thank all of you for your continued assistance, support and prayers during this difficult time.
