Dearest students who are about to choose their majors, it is all - TopicsExpress

Dearest students who are about to choose their majors, it is all right to ask people and to listen to the opinion of others, but at the end of the day, DO NOT FORGET TO ASK YOURSELF/SELVES...All the disciplines/majors are uniquely important or valuable to the global economy or community...(Just because there are only few majoring in Meteorology or Anthropology or Molecular Biology does not mean that these fields of study are not needed?) This world is so vast and so dynamic that there can be no major/discipline which can have the monopoly of job opportunities in the world. What course/courses will best fit my interests? In which course/courses will I be most happy, will I enjoy while learning? ...I really believe that you will always get better in anything that you LOVE doing. If you are still in doubt, you can always ask me or any of your professors in Economics about Economics, Agribusiness Manangement and the double major programs of the university. THE DOUBLE MAJOR PROGRAM IS NOT A PROGRAM OF THE ECON DEPARTMENT ALONE, IT IS A PROGRAM/AN OPPORTUNITY GIVEN BY THE UNIVERSITY TO THOSE WHO WANT IT...I promise you, I will only speak of the merits and opportunities of these programs. NEVER will I destroy other programs/courses just to convince you to be with us just like what some people are doing, which FRUSTRATES ME A LOT, A LOT, especially if your program has already more, significantly more, students than ours. Whats the point of doing so? You want to have ALL? Selfish people frustrate me really! To those who have chosen Economics or Agribusiness as their major or one of their majors, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR TRUSTING US TO TRAIN YOU. We will do so to the best of our abilities. To those who have not, NO PROBLEM, WALA GUID PROBLEMA, your choice has to be RESPECTED by ALL BECAUSE YOUR CHOICE IS YOUR FUTURE. NOBODY can or should determine that except you and your GOD. :)
