Dearly beloved, The Bible says, “How good and pleasant it is - TopicsExpress

Dearly beloved, The Bible says, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity” (Psalm 133:1). When we gather together in the presence of God, He commands life and blessings there. Last year, we were invited to attend a conference named ‘Gathering in the Holy Spirit’ in Rome for which Christian leaders from nations all over the world had assembled. My husband and I went there. Everyone shared as to how the Holy Spirit was moving in their respective country. Then we were taken around to see the churches in Rome. When we all visited the church where Apostle Paul was murdered and buried, my husband expressed his desire that all of us should pray in that holy church. So saying, he made us all hold our hands together and prayed reverentially saying, “Lord, give us the anointing and the zeal of love that Paul had in him for Jesus. Use each one of us in cities after cities just as how You used Paul.” When we were thus praying, the Holy Spirit came down on my husband in a mighty way and He said through him, “It gives me great joy that all of you have gathered here in the church where Paul was buried. I am well pleased with you all.” On hearing that, we were happy and we thanked the Lord and rejoiced in Him. The Holy Spirit filled all of us mightily. We received a new spiritual experience in that place. When we, the children of God, gather and come to His house, He gives us great joy. The Psalmist says, “You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand” (Psalm 16:11). The Bible says that we get perfect salvation and fullness of joy from the house of the Lord. He takes us there in order to fill us with His happiness, His fullness of joy and eternal delight. He too takes part in the service. He is seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. There is a reward for all the prayers that we offer in His house of prayer. The Bible says, “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them” (Hebrews 7:25). Lord Jesus is our Mediator. He is interceding to God for the salvation of mankind. Those who seek His presence shall receive the joy of salvation. There is fullness of joy in His presence. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, You are our Mediator. You always live to intercede for us. I come to your presence and pray with thanksgiving. I rejoice in your love. Fill me with the joy of your presence. Grant me the joy of salvation. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen.
