Dec 20th Devotional Read The Word The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn. Isaiah 61:1-2 Reflect on the Word When are some times God has given you a chance to help those who are hurt or unhappy? What did you do to answer God’s call? What else could you have done? Live the Word Look in the newspaper or online and find someone in the world who is hurting. Pray for that person throughout the day.
