Dec. 9, 2014 Army system assists with locating Soldiers, Family members during natural disasters, crises Last weekend the Philippines was hit by Super Typhoon Hagupit and so far 27 people have lost their lives. Communications and other infrastructure systems in part of the country have been lost. This has delayed relief efforts and accurate reports on human loss and accountability. Many Soldiers and their Families here at Fort Bragg have family members in the Philippines who they are trying to account for. The Army Disaster Accountability Assessment Personnel System (ADPAAS) can assist them and everyone in locating and accounting for loved ones during times of natural disasters. Army Disaster Accountability Assessment Personnel System (ADPAAS) is available for all Department of the Army affiliated personnel and their Family members, including Reserves, National Guard, DA-civilians and Non-Appropriate Fund employees and their Families. The following steps allows you and your family to submit vital information into ADPASS, which is secured, using your computer: 1. Go to this address: https://adpaas.army.mil/ 2. Select Soldiers, DA Civilian, NAF Employees, OCONUS Contractors and their family 3. Choose one of the three login methods 4. Under the ASSESSMENT tab, choose your status 5. Review the survey introduction and click the Continue to Survey button 6. Complete and submit the assessment survey 7. Review and close the confirmation window 8. Print your survey for your records You are encouraged to update your ADPAAS information as your status changes. ADPAASs website will also give you up-to-date information on natural disasters, such as Super Typhon Hagupit. If you complete a Needs Assessment Survey, a case manager will contact you.
