December 11…..A couple of hundred people are expected to march in a protest Saturday in Fayetteville. Organizer Swann Davis said the march will show solidarity and bring the community together in recognition of the recent deaths of Michael Brown in Missouri and Eric Garner in New York. Davis says the march will allow people to air their feelings in a peaceful manner, and will be a launch pad for discussing ways to bridge the community to the Police Department. Fliers that were distributed Monday originally billed the march as a Die-In”. The march will begin at 1:30pm, and will go from Walmart on Skibo Road, to Morganton Road, then McPherson Church Road and back to Walmart.
