December 14, 2014 Sermon Series: “Finding God in Unexpected Places” Sermon Title: “Joy in Uncertainty” Scripture: Matthew 1:18-25. (NIV) Hi folks, I have to say that living close to the beach is one of the most enjoyable appointments that we have had. The beautiful scenery, recreational opportunities, and a somewhat slower pace of life combine to make for a pretty wonderful area to live and experience life. One thing that I have noticed that is not so good about the coastal setting is how fast the salt water can cause things to rust and deteriorate, and once rust has taken hold, it is almost impossible to stop the process. We, too, have those things that hold the power to erode much of the beauty and joy of our lives, and once they take hold, it can be very difficult to stop the progression. This week, as we continue Finding God in Unexpected Places, we will explore a reality that changes everything. Can’t wait to see you there… Pastor Stan
