December 16, 2014 marked my 30th Anniversary in the Martial Arts. I would like to take the time to thank all of the people who have been with me on this Journey. If I miss Someone I apologize. First of all my wife Alicia for putting up with my way of life and still loving me for what takes up a great deal of my time. To Sensei Robert MacEwen and Sensei Jim Giorgi for the last 14 Years of Nihon Goshin Aikido and taking the time to lead me on that path. and an extra thank you to Sensei MacEwen for introducing me to and giving me the chance to train with some of the Greatest Martial artist who were my inspiration in the 80s. Such as Bill Superfoot Wallace, John Deblasio, & Danny Lane. Just to name a few. I would like to thank my friends Sensei Mike Spears and Shihan Jason Chambers, Sensei Joey Bourgoyne, for the encouragement to keep the Dojo open for 20 Years. also for the knowledge They bestowed on me. Randy Austin for taking the Aikido path which allowed me to make the Journey and being a part of the Dojo for the last 15 years. I would like to thank Master Ryan Blanchard for his recent encouragement. and to all my current Instructors & students and support Staff Jimmy Jackson, John Begue, Jovan Zivkovic, Matthew Begue, Brantley Wilson, & Ken Craft. who have helped with the dojo and the current construction. and to all that showed up last night for my 30th Anniversery and Christmas Party at Athenos. Thanks Steven for taking care of us last night. I hope that I am able to do this again in 30 years.
