December 1979 and I purchase my final album of the year Dirk Wears White Sox by Adam and the Antz. An incredible December that proudly and quite rightly sits at #4 in my all time favourite album chart. The debut album from a band I had seen live about four times but wasnt all that familiar with their songs. It was so different from anything else around at the time and right from the first play I was hooked. I really did feel part of something special particularly as I was a regular shopper at Seditionaries were Adam and his Ants bought their clothes. My close circle of friends at that time however were not convinced. Their loss, but they soon came around a few months down the line ;-) An album that was and still remains a very important part of my life. Choice cut here is The Day I Met God although it could have been any from Tabletalk, Cleopatra, Nine Plan Failed, Never Trust a Man with Egg on his Face, Catholic Day etc etc. Not with religion but the size of his nob
