December 25, 2014 …….Merry Christmas…….still no measurable snow for us in December…the most recent December with only a trace of snow was 1941…1889 did not even get a trace. 6 winters have had only a trace. Good news for ski resorts though is that they will be able to rebuild the base all nights next week and have highs below freezing on at least 3 days in a row. Southern jet stream has storms but it is too far south of us for snow still and the northern jet stream has been too far north to allow cold enough air. Northern branch does drop south of us next week. Friday might be a better golf day than return shopping day actually. Tonight Partial clearing 32 Friday March like with light winds and sun 50 Saturday Clouds increasing, showers at night 36/52 Sunday Few drops or flakes 38/42 Monday Partly cloudy and colder 28/36 Tuesday Bit colder and dry 25/33 Wednesday Some clouds 20/28 Thursday Cold again 17/30
