December 2nd , 2013 Dear Tourism Stakeholder: Re:A Tourism Policy for Anguilla A clear and unambiguous tourism policy is one of the pillars of a sustainable tourism industry. There are several policy statements on tourism in Anguilla dating back to 1978. I am pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Tourism is now in the process of preparing one comprehensive tourism policy statement, to guide the sustainable development of Tourism in Anguilla. A series of conversations are being planned to engage various groups of stakeholders including the public and private sectors, the clergy and others. The Hon. Minister of Tourism Mr. Hubert Hughes requests your attendance at a session on Monday December 9th at 1:30 p.m. at the Teachers’ Resource Centre where the tourism policy will be discussed. Your contribution to this process will ensure that a wide cross section of views are considered in drafting the final policy statement.
