December 9 Events: League Bring n Buy Auction, at Noon Monday, December 9, at the Golden Corral. Bring a nice item or culinary delight to auction and be prepared to purchase a gift or treat! You may also choose to donate some clothing to the Hope Chest - a non-profit organization located at corner of North 4th and H Street that gives away clothing to needy individuals and families in our area. You may bring your nice, but no longer needed clothing items to the meeting. Or, if you prefer, you can bring a package of socks or underwear - any size, any gender. After the Auction, the city of Fort Smith has asked us to participate in their second round of community forums. If you can stay until 2:30 or 3:00, the city would like to get our input on Imagining Alternative Futures. That is a lot of information to absorb in one message, but an opportunity to help in 3 ways in just a few hours.
