Deckers Restaurant Ltd Conference & Banqueting Assistant Manager Job description The Royal Toby Hotel is arguably the most popular Hotel in the area, with two renowned restaurants, purpose built function facilities and 53 bedrooms. As Conference & Banqueting Assistant Manager you will report directly to the Conference and Banqueting Manager to create a seamless service on every occasion. You will be responsible for a small operational team to best service guests from corporate client’s conferences to full service weddings. Your role will include receiving enquiries, selling our venue and will also include setting up for functions, running the events; ensuring high levels of hygiene and health & safety are adhered to, staff training and development, assist with rotas and continuing development of guest service standards. The right candidate will have excellent sales skills, a good knowledge of food and beverage service skills, exemplary guest service skills and can lead and motivate their team. You must be able to prioritise and delegate to ensure all events run smoothly with an eye for detail and always put the guest first.
