Decor Tips & Tricks in a Natural Setting I just had the pleasure of attending one of my very good friends vow renewal on the 10th Anniversary of their wedding in Honduras. It was a fabulous setting to begin with, she incorporated elements that helped to enhance the natural setting creating an elegant atmosphere. The beautiful setting we were in did most of the work, which saves time and money in the long run and is the same thing lots of the Neal Creek Resort couples like to do. Capitalizing on the waterfalls, trees, covered bridge and floating gazebo to set the mood and create a sense of adventure and elegance, the Neal Creek Resort couples often use nature to their advantage. Most of the time the addition of some tulle or simple burlap along with a mason jar of wildflowers is the perfect enhancement for an elegant wedding. My friend put a great deal of time into the items she could create ahead of time, like the fans, menus and scrabble tile place cards. The humor and whimsy of the place cards and the fun facts about the couple printed on the fans showed us the playful side of the bride & groom. If you are on a budget, this is the perfect way to add your own personal touches without breaking the bank. She even custom made boxes for the favors and decorated each one individually (I should point out this was a group of about 20 people - not a 100 person guest list!). Simple strips of burlap, elegant sprays of white orchids and pops of color with the napkins and trims made everything cohesive and showcased the location too. Neal Creek Resort is booking now for 2016, with only a few 2015 dates available. Event coordination included. Book early!
